Detailed programme by subject

This one-year programme is drawn up in consultation with the academic supervisor of the certificate, taking into account the candidate's academic background and the direction he or she chooses.

It focuses on historical criticism and its application to a particular period or field of history. It includes courses in auxiliary sciences, a seminar and, possibly, a final project to test the candidate's abilities in researching and criticizing sources, defining a problematic and synthesizing the material collected.
