Evaluation

Upon successful completion of the Module, participants will receive either a Certificate of Achievement or a Certificate of Attendance. The Certificate of Achievement carries the accreditation of 5 credits (ECTS) and aims to enhance the participants' training and professional experience. These credits can be transferred to other European universities utilizing the ECTS system. However, we recommend verifying with your home institution beforehand to ensure the transferability of credits.

Evaluation: To be assessed, participants are required to attend all courses. The assessment will be conducted in three stages:

  • Participation in the Active Learning Forum (ALF) (20%): Participants will receive a reading assignment one month before the Program and will be expected to post a summary on the ALF platform and engage in discussions with other participants. The Research Officer will monitor the forum, ensuring active participation and stimulating lively discussions.
  • My POLLEN Talks (40%): Participants will deliver a short talk to a jury during a public session. These talks, accompanied by PowerPoint presentations incorporating visuals, facts, and figures, should not exceed five minutes. A five-minute Q&A session will follow the presentation. The jury comprises four Module speakers, and the best talks will be shared as online videos.
  • Policy Brief (40%): Participants will be required to draft a concise summary, limited to 4 pages or 1500 words, on a specific issue. The policy brief should provide balanced information for policymakers and have an appealing design, possibly including one or more figures. Participants must utilize the knowledge and skills acquired during the POLLEN Program to create an original and coherent policy brief. The best briefs will be posted online.
