Programme structure

The programme is made up of:

  • core courses (90 credits), comprising:
    - 30 credits for the dissertation; 
    - 2 x 20 credits corresponding to two sections amongst: Ancient Egypt, Ancient Near East, Greek language, Biblical languages, Byzantium, Medieval Middle East, Islam and the Arab World, India and India (advanced);
    - 20 credits of courses chosen freely;

  • a focus (30 credits).


For a programme-type, and regardless of the focus, options/or elective courses selected, this master will carry a minimum of 120 credits divided over two annual units, corresponding to 60 credits each.
