Access Requirements

In addition to fulfilling the specific conditions described here below, candidates must provide proof of sufficient command of the French language (level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference).

DEADLINES TO SUBMIT A UCLOUVAIN ONLINE REQUEST

- APRIL 30 for candidates nationals of a country outside the European Union, not residing in Belgium and needing a visa
- AUGUST 31 for all applicants nationals of a country of the European Union or a national of a country with exemption from visa (Norway, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Switzerland and Iceland) holders or future holders of a foreign access degree (i.e. non Belgian degree) AND for all nationals of a country outside the European Union, residing in Belgium and not needing a visa
- SEPTEMBER 30 for all applicants nationals of a country of the European Union or nationals of a country with exemption from visa (Norway, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Switzerland and Iceland) holders or future holders of a Belgian access degree (i.e. Belgian degree).

Please note that attendance is mandatory as of the beginning of the academic year on September 19.

BELGIAN NON-UNIVERSITY SECOND CYCLE DIPLOMA

Please note that a possible complementary course in "Economie politique" may be added to your programme.

VALID PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (VAE)

> Application procedure for access/registration : Download the VAE 2022 file, complete it and return it by post by 22 August 2022 at 9:00 am at the latest, to the following address

If the jury deems your file admissible, you will be invited to an aptitude test which will take place on Tuesday 30 August 2022 from 17:00 to 20:00 (the auditorium will be communicated in due course).
The decision of the jury deliberating the test will be communicated to you during the first week of September 2022.

You will also be invited to submit an online application for registration at UCLouvain. Following this online registration, the Central Registration Service of the university will ask you to compile an access file.

NON-EU CITIZENS WITH A BELGIAN BACHELOR'S AND/OR MASTER'S DEGREE

> Requirements: Access requirements identical to those for holders of Belgian degrees (see above)

> Procedure: UCLouvain application procedure (for students from non-EU countries)

> Deadline to submit a UCLouvain online request

- April 30 for applicants of non-European Union nationality who are not resident in Belgium and need a study visa;
- August 31 for all other candidates, resident or not in Belgium

NON-BELGIAN UNIVERSITY DEGREE FROM A RECOGNIZED ACADEMIC INSTITUTION (regardless of your nationality)

> It is possible, under certain conditions, to use one's personal and professional experience to enter a university course without having the required qualifications. However, validation of prior experience does not automatically apply to all courses. Find out more about Validation of priori experience.

Access based on application : access may be granted either directly or on the condition of completing additional courses of a maximum of 60 ECTS credits, or refused.

It should be noted that entry to all Masters (with the exception of Advanced Masters) can also be gained on submission of a personal application file.

Access based on application for (future) holders of a Belgian degree: you must of course meet the general and specific access requirements mentioned in the table above according to the degree you have or will obtain and then you must

1. complete and submit an online application to UCLouvain and follow the procedure (https://uclouvain.be/en/study/inscriptions/futurs-etudiants.html)
2. follow the procedure explained on this webpage above the table according to your profile

Access based on application for (future) holders of a non-Belgian degree: you must of course meet the general and specific access requirements mentioned in the table above according to the degree you have or will obtain and then you must complete and submit an online application to UCLouvain and follow the procedure (https://uclouvain.be/en/study/inscriptions/futurs-etudiants.html)

Students who have a Belgian bachelor's degree in management have direct access. They do not have to follow the admission procedure; they can complete their registration application directly.
