Evaluation

The evaluation methods comply with the regulations concerning studies and exams (https://uclouvain.be/fr/decouvrir/rgee.html). More detailed explanation of the modalities specific to each learning unit are available on their description sheets under the heading “Learning outcomes evaluation method”.

Each course is subject to an evaluation taking place at the end of the quadrimester in which it is organized.

Certain "professional integration" type activities are subject to only one assessment over the year: learning in medical practice (clinical approach), development of clinical and technical skills, clinical internships.

One sector has a decisive influence on the success of the year: it is the “Clinical and therapeutic approach” sector to which the summary assessment is attached, the objectives of which are specified according to the student's level of training.

To obtain the average, the marks obtained for the teaching units are weighted by their respective credits.

Note: the internship of the 1st annual block being organized in June, the organization of the 2nd quadrimester is adapted: 10 weeks of lessons, 2 weeks of study followed by exams, then the internship. The final deliberation of the 1st annual block will take place in September in order to include the grade for the internship.
