Students choosing the foundation minor in discipline aim to discover history of Art and archeology, a different discipline to that of the major, and understand its unique characteristics, its fundamental principles and its demands in the interests of openness and with a view to creating an approach that complements that of the discipline of the major in order to enhance the study of a problem.
On successful completion of this programme, each student is able to :
1. Demonstrate the acquisition of a knowledge base in history of Art and archeology in order to grasp its/their specific features.
2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the basic tools of the history of Art and archeology.
3. Discover and incorporate the robustness required by history of Arts and archeology and display evidence of this incorporation.
4. Discover a capacity for a line of reasoning specific to the history of Arts and archeology.
5. Min-0.5. Identify the specific features of the hisory of Art and archeology and construct a reflective approach that complements that of the discipline of the major in order to enhance the study of a problem.
