For UCL theology students, Erasmus exchanges, authorised at the bachelor stage, are encouraged at Master level. Moreover, exchanges with the faculties of theology at KULeuven, Strasbourg University and the Université catholique de Lyon are particularly promoted.
International attraction
In French-speaking Europe, this masters programme is only recognised by public authorities at UCL, the Université Marc Bloch de Strasbourg and the Université de Fribourg (CH). Furthermore, it provides students wilthe the opportunity to obtain a 'licence canonique en théologie' (Sacrae theologiae licentiatus) if they meet the requirements to do so (see page). ). This opportunity attracts many ecclesiastical students from developing countries.
As well as a partnership agreement with the theology faculty at KULeuven, the faculty is developing international contacts to promote privileged partnerships at the level of its École doctorale thématique (THEODOC) ; this partnerships will ultimately have a positive knock-on effect on the way the Master is organised.
