Students doing a 120-credit Master's degree may complete 30 credits at a university outside the French Community of Belgium:

• USEK, Kaslik (Liban, accord Mercator)

 Under the agreement between UCL and the Institut Catholique de Paris, students undertaking the 120-credit HORI Master's degree (research focus) may opt for a joint degree programme, spending the first block in Paris and the second in Louvain-la-Neuve.

Under the terms of the UCL – KULeuven agreement, courses may be taken at Leuven, particularly in Egyptology, Sumerology, etc.
