Students enrolled on the Bachelor in Sociology and Anthropology programme are working towards becoming professionals capable of robustly analysing societies and cultures, understanding local and global contemporary changes and issues and becoming actively engaged. The students are readying themselves for the Master in Sociology or Anthropology programme (or a different programme) to complete this objective.
The goal of the Bachelor in Sociology and Anthropology programme is to produce thoughtful and analytical graduates initiated in the analysis of contemporary societies. This analytical skill is applied in particular to sociological and anthropological phenomena such as solidarity and social integration, changes in the field of labour, family structures and parenthood, cultural changes, social interactions, the relationship between the symbolic and the religious, etc. The training is based on mastering the fundamental concepts and theories of sociology and anthropology and of methodological survey tools in the social field. During the three-year Bachelor course, students will have demonstrated growing independence.
