To acquire the skills of a sociologist, the training programme combines four major teaching methods:
- lectures (theory, methodology, epistemology or in-depth study in a specific field)
- research seminars based on interaction and “doing”
- a work placement specific to each focus providing experience in a real professional environment
- the preparation of a thesis focusing on the different skills acquired (method, analysis, criticism)
By giving students a variety of options for classes or seminars, work placement locations and thesis subjects, the course encourages the application of a personal research, training and professionalisation project.
