The preparatory year aims to introduce students to fundamental research techniques in history and to put these theoretical techniques into practice during two seminars.  The preparatory year also aims to help students acquire or increase their language skills (one ancient and one modern language) to help them sucessfully follow the (unknown URL) or the Master [120] in History.
