Teaching and training

The learning process is both theoretical and applied, due to the completion of a variety of works and the incorporation of themes in the resolution and analysis of communication issues. The aim of the “bridging activities”, which the students will undertake throughout the three years of their initial training, is to immerse them in this reality.

In Bac 1, these activities will essentially enable the students to familiarise themselves with the theories, authors and major sectors of the communication world.

In Bac 2, the activities will allow the students to explore the different areas of communication, in particular those relating to the media. These will be the subject of special meetings, visits and analyses. Field trips will be organised in this respect. The bridging activities will also introduce students to the major current media issues and provide them with the tools to understand these. Finally, the activities will support the students in gaining command of the applied forms of qualitative research.

In Bac 3, the students will be called on to personalise how they express themselves and explore the field of communication they will follow in the Master’s course. They will build their understanding of current communication issues. The bridging activities will also involve the students in applied work on quantitative studies or surveys in the field of communication
