This year-long programme is drawn up in collaboration with the lecturer in charge of the certificate, taking account of the previous studies and the subject area chosen by the student.  

It is based on historical criticism and its application to a period or field of history. It includes courses on related subjects, a seminar and, at the end, a final assignment intended to demonstrate the candidate’s skills in research and criticism of sources, the definition of an issue and the synthesis of all the material.
