Learning outcomes upon course completion

This year’s goal is to allow students who have come from institutions of higher education access to the Master 120 in Public Health (in compliance with the decree of the Government of the French Community setting conditions for access to university studies for students with academic degrees awarded outside universities)

The objectives are as follows:

1. To acquire the disciplinary foundations required to understand the different aspects of health-related problems: medical, social, psychological, psycho-sociological, ethical, legal and economical.
2. To use methods and tools to acquire an academic approach to public health, including the bases for quantitative and qualitative methods.
3. To familiarise oneself with the general problems of public health, the promotion of health and the organisation of the healthcare system.
4. To improve passive understanding of English.
