Bachelors
Bachelor
A bachelor programme leads to the Bachelor degree, marking the successful conclusion of the first study cycle. It comprises 180 credits, spread over three years of studies.

At UCL, the programme is usually divided in a major (150 credits), covering the studies corresponding to the title of the diploma, and a minor (30 credits), which offers either an initiation to another subject, or further development of the major. The minor is chosen at the beginning of the second year and is spread over the second and third years of the bachelor studies.

Each bachelor's programme gives direct access to the corresponding master's programme. However, depending on the student's programme and his choice of minor, other masters may be accessible, with or without prerequisites.
