Preparatory year for Master in Performing Arts - THEA1PM
The preparatory year aims to provide students whose previous studies have been deemed by the programme committee to be inadequate for direct access to
Master [120] of arts in Performing Arts [120.0]
with supplementary courses to help the student succesfully follow the master.
This programme aims to introduce students to university methodology and also is composed of an introduction to philosophy, literature and art as well as the theatre in practice.
Depending on the nature of the course and the teaching activities in question, the evaluation will take different forms. Some courses will involve oral and/or written evaluations (held during one of the three exam sessions), whilst the evaluation of seminars will involve more substantial participation on the part of the student as well as assessment of individual course work. Those exams relating to courses on communication skills will evaluate the student's level, i.e. the practical use of the language in relevant situations.
