The preparatory year provides students with the basic tools in Greek and Latin Philology to help them sucessfully follow the
Master [60] of arts in Ancient Languages and Literatures: Classics [60.0]

Master [120] of arts in Ancient Languages and Literatures: Classics [120.0]

The specific programme for both classical languages (Greek and Latin) includes courses aimed at developing :
Depending on the nature of the course and the teaching activities in question, the evaluation will take different forms. Some courses will involve oral and/or written evaluations (held during one of the three exam sessions), whilst the evaluation of seminars will involve more substantial participation on the part of the student as well as assessment of individual course work. Those exams relating to courses on communication skills will evaluate the student's level, i.e. the practical use of the language in relevant situations.
