Minor in Scientific Culture [30.0]

Retour en début de pageStudy objectives

The aim of the minor is to give students a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary idea of the way exact sciences are established and develop, and what contribution they can make to economic and social progress.

Depending on the student's own plans, s/he can choose to tackle one or both of these goals. This choice will then have an impact on what seminar/s s/he chooses.

If the student is interested in examining the interdisciplinarity of the sciences, s/he should take classes in at least two disciplines.

Admission

Retour en début de pageAdmission Requirements

The minor is accessible, with no entry requirements, to all baccalaureate students, regardless of their option. It is taken in the second and third year of the baccalaureate. The minor is also open to adults.

Training available at the end of the minor
The minor does not lead on to any master's in particular. It will make it easier for students to understand problems in exact sciences dealt with on the master's course, even if students only have only received limited training in these subject areas when studying for their baccalaureate.
