The core subjects provide in-depth courses on political science, comparative politics as well as a seminar on comparative politics. The options (13 credits) include a wide selection of area studies or language classes. Finally, two credits are awarded for the production of a dissertation. Students are required to produce clear reasoning for their research topic, a first draft of the bibliography as well as a suggested work plan with a timetable for the different stages of the work by the end of the first year.
