Retour en début de pageGeneral presentation of the programme

The programme’s core courses (90 credits) must include a dissertation (28+2 credits), one seminar in heuristics (4 credits) and 2 interdisciplinary seminars ('methodologie' and 'question approfondie', for 2 x 6 credits) as well as a substantial introduction to the way in which human sciences address the religious phenomenon (18 credits). The rest of the activities are devoted to studying at least two religions. In those activities where the main topic is a religion, the ‘basic activities’ must be followed by any student who cannot prove he has taken a course or seminar in the past on a subject directly related to this religion.
The only focus offered is the research focus. It offers 4 courses of study : religious studies – socio-anthropology – psychology – law, with each science applied to religion.
The programme must amount to at least 120 credits and must be approved by the Chairman of the committee for the Master en sciences des religions.

Important :
The composition of the student’s programme depends on the study path he has followed hitherto and the direction he will take regarding religions studied and/or preferred religious science; thus, the selection of courses must be broad and varied in scope, especially as it strives to appeal to the interests of the student.
Whatever the focus or the options chosen, the programme of this master shall total 120 credits, spread over two years of study, each of 60 credits.
