Professional Focus in Teaching French as a Foreign Language [30.0]

This training gives theoretical and practical teaching preparing the student to teach French as a foreign language; it is mainly intended for students on the master en langues et littératures modernes, orientation générale, who, in their bachelors programme, chose French either as a Romance language in their major or as a minor language (by choosing the Mineure en études françaises [30.0]).
This professional focus does not lead to the student obtaining the 'Agrégation de l’enseignement secondaire supérieur (AESS)'. However, combined with the teaching focus (30 credits in 1 year), taken at the end of the master 120, students are authorised to teach French as a foreign or second language (with the title 'suffisant' but not 'requis').
