The full time training comprises :
theoretical teaching :
- theoretical course
- seminars
- supervised exercises, organized by the different departments and the Belgian Society for Emergency and Catastrophe Medicine
- inter-university lectures.
full time placements in various approved emergency departments
- including at least 18 months in emergency departments approved for placements
- and 18 months in the following disciplines : anaesthetics-resuscitation, intensive care, internal medicine, surgery and paediatrics.
a paper to a recognized scientific meeting or the publication of an article on a subject involving emergency medicine in a scientific journal
