Language courses are given in the target language. General courses are given in either French or English, a step designed to facilitate foreign students’ access to the master.
Students will be strongly encouraged to study outside Belgium in the framework of the Erasmus programme. This Erasmus experience must take place during the first term of the second year of the master. Erasmus students will follow equivalent language and general courses offered in the host university worth a total of 30 credits. The equivalence of courses chosen by the student is evaluated by the MULT master management committee. Students may also opt to complete their three-month internship outside Belgium in a country where one of the two major languages chosen by the student is spoken. This internship should ideally be completed by the second term of the second year of the master. In order to meet the needs of Dutch-speaking students wanting to improve their French in a French-speaking environment, French has been added to the existing major languages (Dutch, English, German.
