Learning outcomes

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 The focus of this teaching unit  - understanding the link between writing and building ' involves a lengthy list of the mechanics of composition, from considered and speculative thinking procedures relevant to writing to the practical and architectural procedures relevant to building.
Specific learning outcomes:
By the end of this course, students are able to
  • find their way in an architectural field using a corpus formed of written and/or built knowledge
  • make use of this corpus to support a reasoned and critical approach in the architectural field
  • revert to the approach and the corpus formed in the architectural field.
