Content
The aim of the course is to bring the student to a knowledge of the most frequent neurological and psychiatric diseases. In addition to the WSBIM2152 course, this course invites the student to explore in depth a particular disease, based on the analysis of a recent publication. Understanding this will require acquaintance with other publications or literature reviews to define the general context of more recent work.
Teaching methods

Autonomous work of the student consisting in the reading, understanding and critical analysis of a recent scientific publication.
Evaluation methods

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.

The student will present an oral seminar to teachers (and possibly students). The final evaluation integrates the quality of the bibliographic research, the presentation, its critical analysis and the answers to a few questions.
Other information
This teaching unit consists in an individual work by the student. The course teachers will propose various recent publications relating notable progress in the understanding of the mechanisms or treatments of neurological or psychiatric diseases. Each student chooses a publication and studies its content as well as previous publications. Supported by possible exchanges with the teacher who proposed this publication, the student will prepare and present a seminar related to this publication while taking care to integrate it into current knowledge in the field.
