LANGL1841 is an online course, with coaching sessions and remedial classes (1h/week).
All students must practice their English during the academic year, even those who passed the placement test.
Moodle LANGL1841: This platform is used to propose online activities to all students. Those activities deal with topics connected with their studies. Thanks to online tests, students can also test their understanding of the grammar and vocabulary that they have to study.

Evaluation methods
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the information in this section is particularly likely to change.
1. Compulsory Placement Test: at the beginning of the academic year, all students must take this ONLINE test (on Moodle). This test is the same level as the exam. On the basis of the results, students have access to the intensive or « normal » course/ coaching sessions.2. First-Term Test (10%): at the end of the first term, students MUST take a test assessing the vocabulary (videos/texts/Wallangues), grammar and reading/listening skills covered in class. Students cannot be exempted from the course material . The test will take place on Moodle Exams.
3. The Final (Written) Exam: The final exam takes place in May (cfr Moodle).

Online-Test on Moodle: Due to the present circumstances, the test will be formative (10%) rather than certificative. Therefore, there cannot be any total exemption of the entire course material from the first term.
