Must have completed the courses "Conference interpreting techniques" and "Professional ethics of conference interpreting" (LINTP2001).

Must have a thorough understanding of French and the French Belgian Sign Language (LSFB), very good general knowledge and an awareness of current affairs.

Must be fluent in French, with a very high level of accuracy.

Content
Consecutive and simultaneous interpreting assignments for national or international institutions, non-profit associations, NGOs, etc.
Teaching methods
As per internship agreement. The teacher and the internship supervisor guide the students before and during their internship in the host organisation/institution; they then discuss and assess the students’ performance and suggest possible improvements.
Evaluation methods
After each assignment or internship period, students submit a detailed internship report. The internship is assessed on the basis of the reports written by the internship supervisor, the teacher supervising the internship and the student. The various internship assessments are weighted according to the length of each internship to obtain a single overall grade.
