Prerequisites
To have successfully followed the courses of English literature in the Bachelor programme, and to show a strong interest in this area of research. Writing a master's dissertation on a topic of the seminar is not a condition for registering.
Main themes
The content of the seminars depends on developments in current research methods and their epistemological foundations, the interests or dissertation topics of the students enrolled, or even the teacher's research. It can therefore vary from year to year.
Students will actively take part in debates on ongoing research into English literature, drawing on presentations (workshops, lectures, conferences), visits to museums/exhibitions, and/or scholarly articles in the field in question.

Aims
At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to : | |
| 1 | To give the students a chance to participate in a collective research project and pursue their own research project within this methodological framework, possibly in connection with the writing of their master's dissertation and other research activities. |
