This course focuses principally on developing speaking skills so that students will be able to greet an English speaking counterpart, express themselves without too much conspicuous searching for words, on familiar or less familiar topics related to their interests and professional life. The student should also be able to give a structured Powerpoint presentation on dental health care or dental techniques and understand those given by their peers. This requires using and pronouncing correctly dental terms, as well as broadening existing general vocabulary. Grammar structures and idiomatic expressions used correspond to the B2+ C1 level of the 'Common European Framework for Languages'. |
The contribution of this Teaching Unit to the development and command of the skills and learning outcomes of the programme(s) can be accessed at the end of this sheet, in the section entitled “Programmes/courses offering this Teaching Unit”.
