This course aims to introduce the world of music, especially Western classical music, in a lively and active way, through concerts and commentary.

Acquisition of a critical approach of active listening, in particular by commented auditions and concert attendance. Content
After a broad introduction that outlines the genres and forms of Western music and highlights some of the major works of the repertoire, the course develops around concerts in which students are invited to participate and commented plays of works from the classical repertoire or current creations.
Teaching methods
The teaching methods for this course are varied and consist of lectures, visits of ConcertHouses, conferences and compulsory attendance to the performances.
Evaluation methods
The exam is a written test on the subject taught during the lectures and on the concerts of the year.
