Content
This seminar allows Master students to conceive and implement a reasoned research strategy for their master thesis. It is organized along the major steps of a rigorous scientific research: from the first attempts to identify a problem that will lead to a research question through to the finalization of the work, including the problematization, the state of the art, the definition of a methodological approach, and of course the identification and use of an appropriate theoretical and conceptual frame.
Teaching methods
This seminar will largely use flipped classroom approaches, with homework regularly needed in preparation to the classes and on the basis of the knowhow and lessons conveyed through the lectures.
Evaluation methods
The seminar is based on a continuous assessment of the work of the students, ranging from the regular written assignments and the final written document to the in-class oral presentations and active contribution to the debates and collective sessions.
