- Information on the whole of the different recommendations governing the practice of the profession
- Concepts of ethics, morality and professional deontology: links and differences, historical aspects of the deontological code in psychology, the deontological code as structuring element of a profession
- Codes of professional conduct of psychologists: European ethical charter, Belgian code (history, contents, in particular concepts of respect, consent, publicity, sexual contacts), codes of sectors (clinicians, work and organisations, research and education)
- Professional secrecy: principles, exceptions, shared professional secrecy, individual cases, court testimonies (Articles 458 and 458bis of the Criminal Code), criminal and civil sanctions
- Failure to assist a person in danger (Article 422bis of the Criminal Code) and Decree of 12th May 2004 on the assistance to victims of child abuse
- Records management: Laws relating to the patient's rights (22nd August 2002) and to privacy protection (8th December 1992)
- Case studies and individual cases (work under mandate, work with children and families, parental authority, responsible adult)
