Prerequisites
Basic knowledge in psychodiagnotic, psychometry and psychopathology are required.
Main themes
This course intends to develop the conceptual, critical and methodological skills of a selection of important diagnostic tests in the clinical field.
Aims

At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

Having successfully completed this course, the students should be able:

- to understand the theoretical and metrical bases of the analyzed tests,

- to identify the relevant situations and conditions in which these tests should be used,

- to use these tests in an appropriate way (including scoring and interpretation),

- to communicate adequately results and interpretations.

Content
To develop the student's critical thinking about the use of the psychodiagnostic tests, tests from different domains (intellectual development, personality, behaviors') will be analyzed.
Teaching methods
The lectures will be based on the analysis of test protocols of clinical cases. The main goal is the development the student's critical thinking about tests. Students are expected to work between the main lectures, especially during the practical sessions.
Evaluation methods
Students will be evaluated by two independent tasks: a case study in auditory in the middle of the semester and a writing essay. To validate the whole course, each task should be successfully accomplished and validated.
