  • The individual in the organization: approaches to job satisfaction; justice at work; commitment; perceived organizational support; leadership; deviant behaviours; tools for observing and analyzing organizational behaviour
Teaching methods
A range of pedagogical methods will be deployed, from the ex-cathedra course to more participatory methods (e.g., serious game, group discussion, etc.) and formative (self-)assessments.
Evaluation methods
The evaluation of course LPSP1204 - Psychology of work and organizations is composed of 2 parts: 1/psychology of work (corresponding to the contents given by Mrs. A. Casini) and 2/psychology of organizations (corresponding to the contents given by Mrs. F. Stinglhamber).
Students will be asked to answer a MCQ type questionnaire consisting of a total of 40 questions with 4 possible answers for each question. Only one answer is correct.
The correction scale is as follows:
- Correct answer: 1/1
- Incorrect answer: -0.25/1
- Answer "? "or do not answer anything: 0/1
To be successful on the exam, one must obtain half the points (10/20) in each of the two parts. Thus, 3 scenarios are possible:
1/ the student obtains a score greater than 10/20 in each of the 2 parts: in this case, the examination is passed and the final score will correspond to the average of the 2 parts.
2/ the student obtains a score greater than 10/20 in one part and lower than 10/20 in the other part: in this case, the final score will be the lowest score (e. g. "occupational psychology" score = 15/20 and "organizational psychology" score = 08/20 --> the final score will be 08/20).
3/ the student obtains a score of less than 10/20 in each of the 2 parts: in this case, the final score will correspond to the average of the 2 parts.
The 1st AND 2nd session exams will focus on the same contents, have the same format and will be scored in the same way. In the 2nd session, it is necessary in all cases to pass both parts of the examination again, even if one of the two parts had been successful in the 1st session.
