Content
To consider the principle problems inherent to the training of future professors:
- the objectives of art history and aesthetics courses in high schools and academies;
- the pedagogical specifics of museum visits; - obstacles to visual perception;
- obstacles to understanding the specificity of artistic language:
- the objectification of aesthetic appreciation. Analysis of the programmes and their objectives in relation to secondary school and academies education programmes and in concert with the specific objectives of each section/option. Introduction to the specificities of intellectual synthesis and overview of the specific means and methods available for the transmission of information in the domains of art history and archaeology.
Theoretical presentations and experiments on:
- communication conditions;
- the construction of a presentation;
- the constitutive parts of oral communication;
- oral communication skills.

Evaluation methods
Didactic part, oral exam = 50% of the overall evaluation; Part "Programs", written exam = 25% of the overall evaluation and part "Communication of scientific knowledge", written essay = 25% of the overall evaluation.
