Although belatedly, he took the pah of despotism never to return and provided England with some of its most lasting features. We will try to explore his multifaceted period his brillant and perilous court, his clumsy military campaigns, dramatic religious upheavals, everyday life of a prosperous society, ad the unequal developments of arts and though.
