Evaluation methods
A written exam is planned at the end of the trimester, leading to the evaluation of theoretical skills of the students. A long term evaluation is done through the different reports realised for different courses, but also at the end of the Master training, with the Master thesis.
Content
The course provides a background from which postgraduate students may develop their skills and confidence to tackle research problems, to evaluate critically both their own and others' research, and to communicate their findings effectively into a synthetic report, adequately structured and referenced.

This course aims to give the students the theoretical and practical skills to design and implement clinical and health services research (HSR). It teaches the skills that are required to critically review the management of a reported clinical/HSR research, to develop one's own research project and to manage the research project required to obtain the diploma in a Master degree. The emphasis is on critical analysis of literature and the identification of the respective strengths and weaknesses of researches according to the study design.
