Main themes
Principal themes required to achieve the goals of the course: - a presentation of the most occurring or disabling occupational diseases in our countries - a chronological view of the occupational world as well as its relationship with health - a presentation of some basic theories about communication to elaborate health sessions for workers Note that exercises in small groups will be used as well as ex-cathedra lectures. This course is part of the " Ergonomy and readaptation "orientation et is the follow-up of the course " Fondements de l'Ergonomie ".
Aims
At the end of the course the successful student will have gained knowledge about a certain number of the currently used approaches in the prevention of several occupational diseases, from a bio-psycho-social perspective. Specific topics include theoretical and practical issues enabling the student to organise sessions for workers with specific occupational diseases.

Content
Knowledge of some occupational pathologies, in relation to risk factors and prevention. Knowledge of some basic theories in oral communication to be able to organise prevention session for workers. Lectures and practical exercises.
