The evaluation will combine an assessment of participation in class, essay writing and an oral assessment of the student's knowledge of the content of what has been taught.

This course, of an interdisciplinary nature, combines a general part proposing a framework to approach normative philosophical questions arising in the field of social responsibility in economic life, and a special part, taught by a guest lecturer, on a topic that changes every year (e.g. workplace democracy, the social responsiobility of multinationals, etc.)
This course will be limited to 40 students, on a first come, first served basis (modalities will be specified at the first class).
Active participation at every class and reading the texts indicated by the professors prior some of the classes will be essential. In case of more than 2 unjustified absences, the students may be prevented from taking the exam.
Prize : The best essay, if of sufficient quality, will be awarded the « Bernheim Social Responsibility Essay Prize ». The Prize regulation and value will be announced during the month of september.
