Aims
Having regard to the LO of the programme X, this activity contributes to the development and acquisition of the following LO:

At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
  • - At the end of this course, the student is able to analyze and present to an audience a real company as a whole.- At the end of this course, the student is able to analyze an issue related to that company and addressed in the context of Entrepreneurship theory course (LCPME2001).- At the end of this course, the student is able to act as a socially responsible actor and to be proactive.- At the end of this course, the student is able to have a critical look at theory and at the analyzed company.- At the end of this course, the student is able to manage a group project.

Content
This course will consist of an analysis of firms that are representative of the theoretical aspects of entrepreneurship. These case studies will be done by groups consisting of three students coming from different faculties. Students will have to contact an entrepreneur, analyze his/her firm and present their analysis in presence of the entrepreneur. The method will be based on real-life case studies. During the presentations, students will have the opportunity to interact with many different entrepreneurs. Sudents will be evaluated on basis of class participation, of their presentation of a case study with the entrepreneur and on an interdisciplinary written report.
