Thorough a one-week trip abroad, or discussion sessions on the campus, the seminar addresses current issues for each of the following periods: Prehistory, Protohistory, Gallo-Roman period, early Middle Ages, late Middle Ages and modern period.
Advanced seminar for studentsin archeology promoting discussions and encounters on sites, museums and behind the scenes of major institutions, with experts in their fields.

The one week trip includes tours, lectures and meetings with experts involved in various institutions and at sites selected for their complementarity with the other courses in archeology. Seminars and tour are taking diachronic and cross-thematic approaches into account.
Bibliography is delivered following the sites to be visited or the themes to discuss during the residential seminar.
