This biannual course is taught on years 2015-2016, 2017-2018, ....
In order to make students self-sufficient and critical in their research, they will be introduced to the critical and detailled study of a theological or literay question about ancient christian literature or of a historical question about chritian antiquity. Individually or in group students will be taught to pratice a rigorous method. They will use specialised tools for patristics or history of Antiquity.
At the end of this activity, the student will be able to - use the main tools for patristics and history of Ancient christianity; - read critically the ancient sources; - understand and appraise critically articles and monographs on these sources; - produce a clear and scientific presentation of his work.

This second (and third) level seminar is taught every two years. Usually it examines the topic that was explored in the course Questions of patritics or Questions of history of christianity: Antiquity
