Can be approached: questions of distinction (pop/rock, rap/rock; authenticity/inauthenticity'); rock as music; rock as technology; rock and economie; rock as social identity ; rock and geography; rock and history; rock and the media.

Aims

-    Be able to transpose the methodological approach of the rock artwork as a key to interpret the contemporary world.
-    Understand the articulation existing between an artistic text and the elements of its context

Content

Anglo-american rock has been, for six decades, the model and paradigm against which most of the popular music produced on the planet is measured. Depending on the year, this influence will be approached through the analysis of rock genres, through the description of important albums or through the career of representative personnalities.
