Aims

At the end of this course, students will be able to:
 

  •  distinguish a social entrepreneur from a classic entrepreneur, 
  • Identify and understand the issues of social entrepreneurship (especially between the social mission and economic activity)
  • To develop a social business plan.
Evaluation methods

Written work and oral presentation.

The objective of this review or final work is to:

 

  • Assess the knowledge acquired by the student about social entrepreneurship.
  •  Assess their reasoning skills and critical approach to issues of social entrepreneurship.

For weighting, refer to the learning agreement distributed by the teacher during the first class.

Teaching methods

This course is interactive, consisting of:

  •  Presentations by the teacher
  •  Use testimonials and case studies
  •   active participation of students during the course and the case studies.
Content

This course is to present what social entrepreneurship , a growing phenomenon.  It presents the many challenges facing social entrepreneurship due to its hybrid nature.
