Pre-requisites :
As the course is based upon the students personal experiences, these must have at least a few years of experience of health problems and services in developing countries.
Organisation
10 sessions of 3h : 2h of presentations and debate, + 1h of synthesis by the teacher
- the students must read before the lecture the proposed documents and articles, and prepare specific questions (to be sent to the teacher before the lecture)
- 4 will prepare as a group, short presentations of personal experiences to illustrate the day's theme ; these are followed by a debate
- In the second part of the lecture, the teacher summarizes and completes the discussion
Evaluation
- student's presentations and participation to debates (33%)
- written dissertation on an imposed subject (66%)
