5.0 crédits ECTS  15.0 h

Teacher(s) Storms Colette ;
Language French
Place
of the course
Louvain-la-Neuve
Main themes The seminar aims at a double goal : to further explore the notions seen in class ; to bring students to analyse an author or a work according to different critical approaches, and starting from the editions and the manuscripts.
Aims To examine particular questions pertaining to french medieval literature, likely to encourage students to engage in their personal research project in medieval studies and to refine their critical analysis skills.
Content The seminar allows students to approach themes that haven't been tackled in class and to explore certain aspects in a comparative scope, especially as regards to specific detailed points of textual and critical methodological views. An interdisciplinar approach will allow the class to deal with history of art, codicology, etc. The texts studied will be approached through their critical editions as well as through their manuscripts, so as to confront students to the practical dimension of research in medieval studies.
Other information Evaluation : a personnal paper will be produced.
