Main themes Clinical presentation of the main aphasic syndromes and the main neuropsychological syndromes associated with them : amnesia, apraxia, agnosia and more specific syndromes (e.g. frontal syndrome etc.) Introduction to the cognitive analysis of language problems by going beyond the semiological perspective and enabling students to identify the psychological mechanisms, changes which trigger observable disorders.
Aims To introduce students to the classification and semiology of language problems (neurolinguistics) and of cognitive problems resulting from cerebral attacks. The course puts forward a cognitive analysis of problems with the aim of interpreting them in terms of disruption in psychological mechanisms.

Other information Lectures, with audio-visual material (slides, films, videos etc,) and practical work (speech and language exercises and clinics) . A manual is available for students.
