Main themes |
The content varies from year to year. It relates to the works of the standard repertoire and their stage productions, and draws on theatrical texts, theoretical writings and iconographic documents relating to the subjects considered.

Aims |
Examination of the European repertoire from the viewpoint of the poetics and aesthetics of the theatre.
The study of a character, myth, dramaturgical trend, aesthetic school, genre or theme using selected works from the European repertoire.

Other information |
Teacher-led course and presentations by groups of students.
Evaluation :
An oral presentation lasting about half an hour and a file of 10-15 pages, to be handed in at the end of the course.
