Method :
The course is conceived so as to allow a progression through which students end up practicing themselves the exercise of integrating sociological and historical approaches.
It is thus divided into several parts :
1) On the topic selected: the teacher gives a synthesis of the contribution of history and sociology.
2) On the basis of bibliographies provided by the teachers, the students will chose a subject for their personal paper. The chosen theme and the methodology used is subject to teachers approval.
3) Day of presentation of the students' essays followed by a debate. Before the oral presentation, the students' papers will be read by the teachers. The students will get a feed back during a second discussion with the teach-ers.
