Content |
Cultural heritage: history of the conservation concept, charters and authorities
Conservation/restoration: two missions :
- preventive conservation;
- history of restoration (mainly in Belgium);
- development of restoration rules (charters, theories,....);
- principles of restoration (deontology,...).
Conservation:
- environment;
- recommendation for the conservation of objects occording to their materials;
- moving of works of art;
- protection of works during unusual circumstances.
